Maharashtra Medical Foundation is a Public Charitable Trust registered with the objective of providing Quality Health Care Services with a human touch to the community at large. Maharashtra Medical Foundation was instituted in the year 1978 by seven medical consultants, doyens in the respective fields of medicine. Their teacher Dr.Laxman Balkrishna Joshi in 1978 generously donated the entire premises of Joshi Hospital alongwith the then existing equipment. Today the institution has reached its present status due to his pioneering gesture and the help of other philanthropic individuals and organisations.
